License Practical Nurse (LPN)

LPN position available serving hospice patients in the Pittsburgh area. Full-time or PRN daylight hours plus paid mileage. Design a schedule that fits your life! Benefits offered for those working at least 30 hours per week.

LPNs are part of a team of registered nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers that work together to provide for the needs of our patients and families. We serve patients in private residences, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities in the greater Pittsburgh area.

Qualifications

  • Active LPN license in PA.

  • Minimum of one-year of nursing experience, hospice experience preferred.

  • Understanding of hospice philosophy and needs of the terminally ill. (We can help with this one)

  • Satisfactory criminal background check.

  • Presentation of negative TB skin test or other equivalent approved by the CDC.

  • Valid driver’s license and an automobile that is insured is accordance with state law.

  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

  • Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.

  • Salary range: $25 - $30/hr; depending on experience
