Some of our volunteers work directly with patients and families in their homes or nursing facilities, providing emotional support and companionship. Simply reading a patient the daily paper or a letter from a loved one can make an impact.
Other volunteers work in the Bethany office as clerical help, bereavement assistants, and medical records clerks.
Volunteer Opportunities currently available:
- Patient and/or family companionship, including patients who reside in private homes and long-term care facilities
- Bereavement support
- Office administrative support
- Pet therapy
- Music therapy
- Massage therapy
If you have a special talent to share that is not listed above, please contact us, as we are always looking for new ways to enrich the lives of our patients and their families.
